Hatchery

Our new hatchery was built in 2003 with the capabilities of handling 1.5 million eggs a season. Hatching pheasant and chukar chicks once or twice a week from March through September. 

Brooder Barns
Flight Pens

With three Brooder Barns, the housing capacity is completed in a monthly rotation for pre-start and mature birds. Allowing day old pheasants and chukars to grow in climate controlled facility for six weeks before releasing into flight pens. 

Midwest Pheasantries has 20+ acres under flight top for pheasants and chukars. These flight pens are set up with proper feeders, waters, and square footage per bird released in each pen. Chukars run have an elevated wire floor to ensure healthy birds.
